Mohore Danda Trek
Mohare Danda Trek is located in the Annapurna region which is a short and easy trekking route of Nepal. It is off the beaten path trekking trail; promote sustainable eco-tourism of Nepal and help local community projects too. This trekking trail is interesting for trekkers due a short time to explore the natural beauty and cultural diversity.
Mohore Danda Trek takes you to the foothill of Annapurna Himalaya which explores beautiful forests such as Oak, Rhododendron, Bamboos and local Himalayan culture. It is located in the Myagdi district of Nepal between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. This is an alternative trekking route of Ghorepani which presents amazing village of Magar inhabitants. Less tourist and perfect view in a short time is the main highlight of this trip.
Mohore Danda Trek starts from Pokhara and drives to Galeshowr and again treks to Bans Kharka, Naangi, Deurali, Ghandruk village, and Nayapul. It is a peaceful walk through off the beaten path having a beautiful view of Annapurna Himalaya. So, this trekking is a great opportunity to explore the peaceful environment, rural village, river, nature, and cultural existence.
Magnificent sunrise and sunsets, mesmerizing mountain scene, exclusive Magar community, and welcoming people make your tour inconceivable. This trek presents the closest view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri from Mohare Hill station. It is also known as the Annapurna-Dhaulagiri community trekking having the natural beauty of Himalaya.
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu
Our Represented member from our Company assist you from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu Nepal and drive to Hotel, and preparation for trip, meet with Trekking Guide and Trek Organizer.
Day 2 Kathmandu to Pokhara Drive 6 hrs
From Kathmandu, we drive to Pokhara by following Prithivi Highway and Trishuli River. From Muglin, we drive to the north part by crossing Dumre, Damauli and finally reach beautiful Pokhara City. You can also fly by Plane to Pokhara which takes 25 minutes.
Day 3 Pokhara to Galeshwor Drive & Trek to Bans Kharka 3hrs drive 3 hrs walk
Early morning we drive to Galeshwor from Pokhara by following Kali Gandaki River and start trek to Bans Kharka. We cross the suspension bridge and ascend to Bans Kharka through forests and local villages. Mostly, we will see Magar settlement today. Overnight at eco community Lodge.
Day 4 Bans Kharka to MohareDanda 7 hrs walk
After breakfast, hike to MohareDanda from Bans Kharka by following the beautiful forests of Rhododendron and Oak. We can have magnificent views of Himalaya such as Fishtail, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak and more white Himalayan Peaks. The sunset view from MohareDanda makes your trip lifetime memorable. Overnight at Eco community Lodge.
Day 5 MohareDanda to Deurali 5 hrs walk
After having an unforgettable time in MohareDand, we trek to Deurali with an amazing view of white Himalayan Peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. During trekking, you will cross the lush forests and some local villages.
Day 6 Deurali to Ghandruk 5 hrs walk
Today, we will have overnight in beautiful Ghandruk village by crossing flatlands, beautiful silent forests. We also cross the suspension bridge in KhumnuKhola with the beautiful image of Fishtail.Ghandruk is a typical Gurung village where people are welcoming and presents good hospitality to Guests. We will visit Gurung musesum and old Ghandruk village too.
Day 7 Ghandruk to Nayapul& Drive to Pokhara
Today we hike down to Nayapul from Ghandruk; takes 5 hours to reach in Nayapul. We cross terrace Rice field also see some orange forests and follow Modi Khola River and exit your Annapurna Conversation Area Permit in Birethanti. From Nayapul we will drive to Pokhara.
Day 8 Pokhara to Kathmandu
Today, we drive to fly to Kathmandu from Pokhara.
Day 9 Kathmandu Sightseeing
Our cultural tour guide takes you to show world heritage sites of Nepal such as Monkey Temple-3000 years old Temple, Old Patan City-Old King Palace, Pashupatinath-Popular Hindu Temple, and Boudhanath –big Buddhist Stupa. It is a full-day guided tour where our guide will explain about Nepal associating with history, Geography, religion, People and culture where you can have a cross-question to him to know about all details of Nepal.
Day 10 Departure to Home
Our representative member from our Company assists in your departure to Tribhuvan International Airport.
