Khayer Lake Trekking begins after having 1:30 hrs drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk, Tadapani, Bhaisi Kharka, Khopra Hill, Jaljala and finally to Khayer Lake. Isolated land of Himalaya, less tourist, and peaceful environment makes your trek lifetime memorable. In this trekking route, there is community handed normal tea houses & lodges providing local foods that make your trip more classical. From Kathmandu, we drive to Pokhara by following Prithivi Highway and Trishuli River. From Muglin, we drive to the north part by crossing Dumre, Damauli and finally reach beautiful Pokhara City. You can also fly by Plane to Pokhara which takes 25 minutes.
We will have a short drive to Nayapul from Pokhara having the scenic beauty of Annapurna Himalaya and hike to Ghandruk by following Modi Khola River and climb up. Nayapul is the entrance point of Annapurna Base Camp Trek where can have many tourists on the way. Our guide will take you to visit Old Ghandurk village and Gurung Museum. In the morning, enjoy the sunrise view of Himalaya from Ghandruk village. Ghandruk is the best place to see the Annapurna Himalayan range. After breakfast, hike up to Tadapani through an isolated forest of Bhaisi Kharka. We escape the main path of Annapurna Base Camp and follow the path of the Ghorepani trail. Overnight at Tadapani.
In the morning, we will have the scenic beauty of Himalaya from Tadapani and hike up to Bhaisi Kharka by following off the beaten path and forested area. We pass through dense Rhododendron forests in the beginning part and ascend to the south part of the valley. Bhaisi kharka is a small village where we will sleep today. Overnight at Bhaisi Kharka.
In this trekking route, there are very few tourists; the area is untouched by modernity and it is more virgin. We cross some valley to the northeast to Sistibang. Overnight at Sitibang.
Today is the most interesting day during the trek to Sitibang because it is a very beautiful place to explore the Himalayan natural beauty. We can see the amazing view of Dhaulagiri and Tukuche Peak also have a beautiful excursion in Khayer Lake which is situated in a steep valley with a slope of Annapurna range. Overnight at Khopa Ridge.
We walk all the way down from Khopra to Swanta village. We will hike through Oak and Rhododendron forest and hike down to terraced hillside. During trekking, we can see beautiful farms, clusters, and terraced farm fields. Overnight at Swanta village.
Today, we trek to Ghorepani from Swanta having an amazing view of Himalaya walk through local Magar and Gurung villages. Ghorepani is a beautiful place that is very popular for seeing the sunrise and Annapurna Himalaya. There will be many tourists here due to the famous and easy trekking route of Nepal. Overnight at Ghorepani
Early morning, hike to Poonhill from Ghorepani for seeing an amazing view of sunrise Himalaya and trek down to Ghorepani. We will have breakfast in Ghorepani and trek down to Poonhill via Oak, Rhododendron and Pine forests. We will have all the way down to Hile and drive to Pokhara by private Jeep.
Today after breakfast we will start our sightseeing of Devi’s Falls, Gupteswor Cave, International Mountain Museum and boating in the Fewa Lake. o/n at pokhara
Today, after quick breakfast we drive to Kathmandu from Pokhara.its take approx. 7 hrs.
Today, you are free in Kathmandu. Shoppig day/rest day.
