Tamang Heritage Trekking
Tamang Heritage Trekking is one of the famous trekking in Nepal. Which is sutation in Northen part of epal. This is recently developed and community based trekking. Populated by Tamang people the Tamang Heritage trekking is a culturally rich trail and offers you an off the beaten trek experience. We can enjoy with Natural hot spring. Incredible mountains vistas of ganesh himal and langtang lirung, habitation of red panda and bears are main features of this trekking. Another highlights of of this trip is briddim home stay, Nagthali View point and many more. We can visit near Tibet border. This is an exiting trek in to the Himalaya.
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu
Arrival at tribhuban international airport Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After having breakfast we go for city sightseeing including pashupatinath, swoyambhunath, patan durbar square. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Kathmnandu to Syabrubensi( 1460 M)- 7 Hours Drive
Drive to syabru Bensi from Kathmandu ,the gateway of langtang trekking.It is about 7-8 hours drive in a bumpy road passing through many small villages. Overnight in Syabru Besi.
Day 4 Syabrubensi to Gatlang (2240 M)- 5 to 6 Hours
We start our trek to gatlang through many tamang villages. In first part we ascend up to the view point. We can see Ganesh Himal and Langtang Range from there. Than we descend to the Goljung valley where we will have our lunch. Than we go to gatlang.
Day 5 Gatlang to Tatopani ( 2600 M)- 5/6 Hours Walking
Hot spring, nice mountain view and chilime hydro power dam are the main highlights of the day. Initially we walk down to we walk down to the Thangbuchet near the Chilime Village than we go to tatopani. After getting there we enjoy with hot spring.
Day 6 Tatopani to Thuman ( 2340 M) via nagthali ( 3165)
Popular meditation place for Buddhist priests and devotees, the nagthali village is very popular in this area. While we ascend to the nagthali village we may encounter with wild mammals such as gray longur. After pass the nagthali village we cross nagthali peak which is very nice view point. We can get a glance of Ganesh Himal,sanjen range and langtang. Than we hike down to another tamang village Thuman.
Day 7 Thuman to Timure ( 1762) and Tibetan borderlands- 3 to 4 hours
We gradually walk down to the timure village . Timure village is near about rasuwagadhi the place of historic warand border area with Tibet. We hike around the rasuwagadhi and back to the timure again
Day 8 Timure to Bridim( 2240 M)- 5 to 6 Hours
Trek to another tamang village Bridim where we can get Tibetan culture and lifestyle. We can get very good experience of exploring their lifestyle and local culture. This place is famous for home stay. There are half century old houses built uo with the stone roofs.
Day 9 Bridim to Syabrubensi- 4 to 5 Hours
Hike down to the syabrubensi passing through fields. We will follow Bhotekoshi river to get syabrubensi
Day 10 Drive back to Kathmandu
Drive back to Kathmandu through same route.
Day 11 Depart to International Port
As per your flight schedule, we check out from the hotel and leave you at International terminal side at Tribhuvan International Airport.
