This hiking trail begins from Shivapuri National Park after having the 1-hour drive to Sunarijal and hike to Chisapani, Nagarkot and finally ends in Dhulikhel. It is a pleasant short trek of Nepal with an incredible view of nature. Trekkers have an amazing view of Ganesh Himal, Boudha Himal, Manaslu, Langtang, Lakpa Dorje, Sisapangma and Gaurishankar Himalayas. So, trekkers experience the traditional rural life existence of Nepali people who live in the Hill area near Kathmandu. It is a great opportunity to enjoy the Himalayan view from Kathmandu.
This hiking program not only presents the natural beauty of Nepal but also acknowledges the cultural activities of Hindu/Buddhist people. Colorful farmhouses, Rice terraces, orange orchards, rhododendron forests, and attractive Hills are the major things to see in this hiking route. Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu
Our Represented member from our Company assist you from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu Nepal and drive to Hotel, and preparation for trip, meet with Trekking Guide and Trek Organizer.
Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing
Our cultural tour guide takes you to show world heritage sites of Nepal such as Monkey Temple-3000 years old Temple, Old Patan City-Old King Palace, Pashupatinath-Popular Hindu Temple, and Boudhanath –big Buddhist Stupa. It is a full-day guided tour where our guide will explain about Nepal associating with history, Geography, religion, People and culture where you can have a question to him to know about all details of Nepal.
Day 3 Kathmandu to SundariJal Drive & Trek to Chisapani 2160 m 1-hour drive 5 hrs Trek
After breakfast, we drive to Sundarijal from Kathmandu through Shivapuri National Park and Waterfall and finally reach to Chisapani from where we can see the amazing view of Langtang range. The trail from Sundarijal goes uphill climbing through stone steps where we should buy national park permits and hike to Mulkharka which is a traditional human settlement area. Also, have a good view of the Kathmandu valley. Overnight at Chisapani
Day 4 Trek to Nagarkot from Chisapani 6 hrs walk 2175m
Today, we trek to Nagarkot from Chisapani after having a scenic view of the sunrise Himalayan view. During hiking, we cross through forests and local which takes 6 hours to reach Nagarkot. We can have a beautiful picture of DorjeLakpa, Langtang, ChovaVamre with more white Himalayan Peaks. We will also cross the beautiful village of Chuki Bhanjyang during today’s trekking. Nagarkot is a popular destination for seeing Himalaya. So, local tourists from Kathmandu go to have one night stay there with family too.
Day 5 Nagarkot to Dhulikhel 1440m 6 hrs walk
Today we go to Dhulikhel from Nagarkot after having an awesome sunrise view. Dhulikhel is a beautiful place for spending time where we can enjoy natural beauty with cultural existence here. During hiking, we cross through local forests, lush vegetation, villages and finally reach to Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is a Newari town full of beauty and charming. We will visit old local houses and local Temples which are located in the center of Dhulikhel.
Day 6 Dhulikhel to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur
Today, we drive to Kathmandu after visiting 800 years old city Bhaktapur on the way. In Bhaktapur, you can visit the old king palace, Temples, old houses, and this place was the capital city of Nepal before the 18th century. It is a very popular place in Nepal with full of old art and architecture.
Day 7 Departure to Home
Our representative member from our Company assists for your departure to Tribhuvan International Airport.
