Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is one of the most popular treks in the north west of Nepal. Annapurna (8,091m) is the 10th highest mountain in the world. Annapurna Base Camp trekking is the adventurous journey in the Annapurna Conservation area. Annapurna Base Camp Treks are rewarded by the breathtaking Himalayan panoramas of the Annapurna region including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Lamjung Himal.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking begins from Nayapul with a short drive from Pokhara. The beginning of the trek goes through the Poon Hill trail. It is the best view point of the Annapurna Himalayas. Next, the trail goes through the terraced landscape, with the view of Mardi Khola and crosses the Gurung and Magar villages. Crossing the rhododendron forest you will reach Ghorepani. Continuing the trek through Chhomrong and crossing Machhrepuchhre Base Camp, finally you reach Annapurna Base Camp. Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu.

We provide an airport pickup facility on which Easy Nepal Treks Private Limited representative will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel. On arrival day we will brief you about trekking and required equipment’s and visit surrounding places as per time availability. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2 Sightseeing of Kathmandu City

Kathmandu Valley is full of historic and cultural place. Our City Guide will take you for Kathmandu Valley City Tour. The tour guide will show you the UNESCO world heritage sites, which includes Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudha Stupa and Syambhunath Stupa also known as Monkey Temple. At the same day we prepare necessary backpack for Trekking. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3 Flight or drive to Pokhara (820m). Drive: 6-7 hours / Flight : Avg 30min

Pokhara is 200 Km East from Kathmandu. Early in the morning we will drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. It takes around 6-7 hours to reach Pokhara in normal case but you may face some traffic due to bumpy highway and heavy vehicles. However you can enjoy the view of Nature.
If you are interested to fly instead of road access, you can reach Pokhara within 30 min leaving from Kathmandu around 8:30 from Tribhuban International Airport. Fly to Pokhara depend upon your travel cost and package you booked.
You can visit beautiful Pokhara city in the evening including beach of Fewa Lake. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 4 Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri (2070m).

After breakfast, we leave hotel and drive to Nayapul. Next, we trek to Hile in easy track and Climb up to Ulleri. The trail is little bit uncomfortable since its first day but you will enjoy the nature like waterfalls, farms, traditional villages, typical forests and culture of ethnic people. Moreover you can enjoy the view of Annapurna and many more mountains from Ulleri. Overnight in Ulleri .

Day 5 Ulleri to Ghorepani (2840m). 5-6 hours.

After breakfast, we trek to the famous trekking destination Ghorepani. This Trail is slightly uphill through the forest. Although, hiking uphill is little bit challenging, you will forget all pain and will lost in the stunning views of mountains like Annapurna, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri and many more little peaks. You can also hike to poon Hill if you are not so tired and weather is clear. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 06 Sunrise hike to Poon Hill (3210m), and trek to Tadapani (2700m) / Chiule 5-6 hours.

Early in the morning, we hike from Ghorepani to Poon Hill to catch red baby born sun. Poon Hill is famous for beautiful sunrise view and 360 degree mountain range panorama. Then we continue our walk to the Tadapani village. It is about 5-6 hours journey through the rhododendron and oak forest. Overnight in Tadapani.

Day 7 Tadapani to Sinuwa (2340m) 6 hours.

After breakfast, we start our journey with narrow trail steeply downhill to Kimrung River about 395 m behind the Chhomrong. Then we cross the suspension bridge and ascend slightly up to Chhomrong. We will take lunch and go forward via village until the river comes. Then we cross the suspension bridge and continue to ascent up to the crest of the ridge terracing the gorge and reach Sinuwa. Overnight in Sinuwa.

Day 8 Sinuwa to Deurali (3230m). 6-7 hours.

After breakfast, we start our trek to Deurali. From Sinuwa to Bamboo, the trail passes through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. We walk through the forest until we reach the Himalayan Hotel and we walk on the easy trail along the forest and reach the Hinku cave. Enjoying the beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, we reach Deurali. Overnight in Deurali.

Day 9 Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m). 6 hours.

After breakfast at Deurali, we gradually climb through a river bed over the vertical way to the mountain side. Hiking from Bagar to the Macchapuchhre Base Camp is tough and exhausting. From Macchapuchhre Base Camp we get marvelous view of Mt. Macchpuchhre, Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna Massifs, Gangapurna and other peaks. We are not able to see the vegetation and the path broadens while entering to the Annapurna Sanctuary. After 2 hours walk from the Macchapuchhre Base Camp, we reach to Annapurna Base camp. Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp

Day 10 ABC to Bamboo.6 hours.

This morning you must wake early to watch the sunrise over Annapurna I and South, the sight is breathtaking. Its 360 degree view of Annapurna sanctuary. After breakfast you will start to descend down the Modi River to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo.

Day 11 Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m / 6hrs)

The trail passes through the small village of Khuldi Gar, before continuing through rhododendron and bamboo fields to the Alpine-style village of Chhomrong. The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, where we will be resting for the night. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs which is just 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda. Overnight in Jhinu Danda.

Day 12 Trek from Jhinu to Ghandruk (2,012 m), 5 hrs

After breakfast at JhinuDanda, we descend to a small stream and climb up the stone steps with undulating hill through the terraced fields, viewing JhinuDanda and Chhomrong village from the top of the ridge. It takes about 2 and half an hour to reach the small village over the top of ridge from JhinuDanda. After this, we further go through surging trail through the intense forest of rhododendron. The scenic stone roofed houses of Landruk and Ghandruk seem graceful from a distance. Overnight in Ghandruk.

Day 13 Ghandruk to Pokhara

The trail descends downhill to new bridge then ascends uphill to Landruk. Landruk is also another fascinating place for tourist from where you can see nice Mountain View, Pokhara valley view, farming land and dense green forest. Now the trail goes to Tolkha till Deurali and descends down to Dhampus then to Phedi. From Phedi we drive to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 14 Fly/Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, 7 hrs, (Can fly if required)

After breakfast, we fly to Kathmandu from Pokhara. It is 30 minutes flight, viewing the fascinating scene. If not, we will drive back to Kathmandu which takes 6-7 hours. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 15 Departure to International Airport

Our beautiful journey comes to an end today!Easy Nepal Trek Private Limited representative will drop you to the airport 3 hours before your flight. So, as per your flight schedule, we check out from the hotel and leave you at International terminal side at Tribhuvan International Airport.
